Abstract:With the characteristics of multi-source,multi-dimensional,high value density and timeliness, geographic information big data has become a key force to promote the transformation of territorial spatial planning from'experience-driven'to'data-driven'.This paper deeply discusses the core value and typical application scenarios of geographic information big data in territorial spatial planning, covering the application architecture of'five levels, three categories and four systems','double evaluation'and resource and environmental background cognition, spatial pattern optimization, planning implementation monitoring, evaluation and early warning, urban renewal and refined governance, regional coordination and disaster risk management. At the same time,it is pointed out that the current challenges such as data barriers, quality integration, technical thresholds, lagging standards and specifications, and insufficient application depth are currently facing. To this end,it is proposed to build a big data platform, strengthen technical research, improve the standard system, cultivate compound talents, and deepen the integration of scenario-driven and cutting-edge technologies.Geographic information big data is reshaping the theory and practice of territorial spatial planning, and providing support for the construction of sustainable territorial space by improving the scientificity, accuracy, dynamics and coordination of planning.
