Abstract：With the development of smart city,environmental monitoring becomes more urgent.IoT technology,with its comprehensive perception,reliable transmission,and intelligent processing,supports smart city environmental monitoring.This paper,integrating IoT principles,analyses the application of different IoT technologies in smart city environmental monitoring across the perception,network,and application layers.It illustrates the application patterns of IoT technologies in atmospheric,water,and soil monitoring,offering effective technical solutions for smart city environmental monitoring.
