Application of UAV multispectral imaging in smart city grid mapping

Abstract：This paper discusses the application of UAV multispectral imaging technology in smart city grid mapping.Through the UAV equipped with a multispectral camera,the image data of the red,green,blue,near-infrared and thermal infrared bands are obtained,combined with high-precision differential global positioning system(GPS)positioning,to achieve high-precision mapping of power grid facilities and early identification of hidden faults.The research shows that this technology can generate an accurate spatial distribution map of power grid facilities,identify equipment with abnormal temperature,timely warn potential faults,and improve the automatic management level of power grid system through data integration and real-time monitoring.The application case analysis further verifies the effectiveness and practicability of the technology,and significantly improves the efficiency and safety of power grid operation and maintenance.
