Research on Bayesian dynamic prediction of convergence deformation in large-span variable cross-section bifurcation tunnels
SHU Jinhui
Abstract:Based on a project in Xiamen, the study employs numerical simulation and Bayesian dynamic prediction methods to analyze and summarize the convergence deformation of large-span variable cross-section branching tunnels under temporal and spatial effects during construction. The results show that the convergence deformation of the tunnel is primarily manifested as crown settlement, which can be divided into three stages.During the construction of large-span variable cross-section branching tunnels, stress concentration is prone to occur at the arch foot, where the stress reaches its maximum value.By using the Bayesian empirical formula and adopting a dynamic data updating approach, the accuracy of deformation prediction is improved, providing a guiding basis for engineering construction.
