Livability and business suitability evaluation of Jinan starting area clusters based on multi-source data

Abstract：This study takes the starting area of the transformation of old and new kinetic energy in Jinan City as the research object,uses multi-source data,and constructs a livability and business suitability evaluation model for urban clusters based on the FME platform.Empirical analysis was conducted on 15 urban clusters within the starting area,which were divided into five types:comprehensive advantage type,livability advantage type,business suitability advantage type,employment disadvantage type,and relative balance type.The comprehensive advantage group has high levels of public service facilities and numerous employment opportunities.The livable advantage group has a superior living environment and complete infrastructure,but relatively insufficient industrial support and employment opportunities.The advantageous group of Yiye has abundant employment opportunities and high salary levels.The employment disadvantaged groups have shortcomings in both public service facilities and employment opportunities.The public service facilities and employment opportunities of the relatively balanced cluster are matched with the permanent population base,and are in a relatively balanced state.This study proposes targeted planning strategies and optimization directions based on the characteristics and planning objectives of various types of clusters.
