Research on planning and site selection of urban parking facilities under new circumstances:A case study of Panyu District

Abstract：The article aims to explore the issues of planning and site selection for urban parking facility construction under new circumstances,taking Panyu District in Guangzhou City as an example,and conducts policy analysis,current situation assessment,demand forecasting,and planning layout.The results show that the rapid growth of motor vehicle ownership in Panyu District has led to a prominent contradiction between parking supply and demand.Optimizing policy support and planning of social parking facilities can effectively alleviate the parking difficulty problem.
