Research on practice of micro-renewal design in urban communities from the perspective of historical and cultural heritage

Abstract：The modern urban development model is undergoing a transformation from incremental expansion to stock optimization,and the micro-renewal strategy of urban communities has become a key approach to enhancing urban quality and deepening cultural connotations.Taking the Daoxiang Community in Wuxi City as the research object,this study systematically explores the era background,design concept,practical path,and experiential insights of urban community micro-renewal under the perspective of historical and cultural heritage.By deeply excavating the historical and cultural resources of the community and integrating modern design concepts and advanced technical methods,Daoxiang Community has successfully achieved a significant transformation from old to new.
