Research on optimization of urban road design from the perspective of sponge city

Abstract：With the changes and development of the new era and the widespread improvement of social production technology,people's quality of life has also significantly improved.The requirements for supporting urban road facilities have also been further increased.As an important component of urban infrastructure,urban roads are not only related to the smoothness and safety of urban transportation,but also an important reflection of urban image and residents'quality of life.The study combines practical cases to explore the application of sponge city concept in urban road drainage design,aiming to optimize road facilities,enhance the city's ability to absorb and release rainwater,effectively control rainwater runoff,reduce urban waterlogging,improve urban ecological environment,and enhance the quality of life of urban residents.
