Abstract：Pavement diseases will pose a threat to traffic and public safety,traditional disease detection methods lack efficiency and accuracy.Machine vision technology provides an effective and accurate detection method by using advanced image processing and machine learning algorithms.This paper analyzes the application of machine vision in asphalt pavement disease detection,and highlights its advantages over traditional methods in automation,accuracy and coverage.By summarizing and analyzing the application status of machine vision,the challenges faced by machine vision in the field of disease detection are discussed.
