Analysis and application of double-track rail flaw detector

Abstract：This paper systematically introduces the working principle and structure of the double-track rail flaw detector,calculates the strength of the wheel,axle,and frame of the double-track rail flaw detector by the finite element method,and discusses the field application of the double-track rail flaw detector.The research results show that the double-track rail flaw detector is based on the ultrasonic principle,and the ultrasonic detection system is the core component of the instrument.The strength of wheels,axles and frames of double-track rail flaw detectors can meet the safety requirements.The double-track rail flaw detector is applied in the field,its damage detection rate is over 90％,and the effect is good during night.
