Injection mold design and process optimization of cup holder based on parameter calculation

Abstract：In order to improve the standardization and precision of injection mold design,optimize the manufacturing process parameters of manufacturing process,and reduce the enterprise risk brought by relying solely on the experience of mold designer.This paper takes the cup holder injection mold as an example,based on parameter calculation,analyzes product parameters,determines the number of cavities,checks the injection molding machine,designs the gating system,optimizes the CNC machining process of cavities and cores,and completes the design and machining of cup holder mold,and verifies the rationality of mold design and process optimization scheme based on parameter calculation through actual injection molding.
