Abstract：Nighttime lighting in modern office buildings plays a crucial role in shaping architectural identity,enhancing work environment quality,and creating a comfortable atmosphere.This study takes the lighting design of buildings surrounding the Southeast Plaza in the West Gate area of Peking University's urban renewal project as an example,illustrating the expression methods of modern office building nighttime lighting.The study also considers daytime effects by integrating hidden lighting fixtures within architectural decorative structures.Through analysis of relevant cases,technical solutions,and comparative practice examples,the project demonstrates the improved quality and visual effects of both building lighting and the surrounding environment.
