Abstract:LED lights, being more eco-friendly and safer than traditional lighting, have become ubiquitous in our daily lives.Succulents, emerging as the new stars in the plant world, are rapidly gaining popularity, expanding their market presence. This growing demand is fueling efforts to enhance the ornamental value of succulents. The strategic use of various LED light sources not only boosts the growth of these plants but also influences the coloration of their leaves. This study examines the effects of five different LED light sources on five species of Crassulaceae succulents, measuring their phenotypic traits such as plant height, width, leaf count, and leaf color changes. The aim is to apply these findings to the practical cultivation of succulents in plant factories.Notably, the LED light spectrum R7G14.7B1 was found to enhance plant height and width for all five species, including E.agavoides'Romeo',Graptopetalum amethystinum,E.×'Ice green',E.chihuahuaensis,E.×'Monroe'.The R5.9G10B1 spectrum significantly increased leaf count, while the R6.5G13.8B1 spectrum notably improved leaf coloration.
