Abstract:Reflective LED light source solar simulators have been widely used in various fields of life due to their advantages of high light efficiency and low dispersion.Uniformity and illuminance are important indicators for measuring the performance of solar simulators. This article uses Tracepro simulation to investigate the changes in the illumination size and uniformity of the receiving surface spot under the condition of reflector height variation for two shapes of reflectors:straight tube and pyramid. It also discusses the effects of inner wall reflective materials, light source spectra, and reflective surface spectral reflectance on illumination and uniformity. The simulation results show that the pyramid reflector is superior to the straight tube reflector in terms of illumination size and uniformity; When mirror reflection is used on the inner wall of the reflector, the performance is significantly better than when diffuse reflection is used under the same conditions; The spectral reflectance of the light source and the reflective surface has little effect on the magnitude and uniformity of illumination. Finally, physical experiments were conducted using a laboratory solar simulator model, and the experimental results obtained were close to the simulation results, proving that the simulation results in this paper are referenceable.
