Abstract:With the rapid development of modern media and entertainment industries as well as the growing pursuit of high image quality by audiences, lighting optimization in television production has become a critical issue. This study focuses on the special lighting requirements for television filming in large conference venues.Through systematic experiments and scientific evaluations,it aims to optimize lighting methods to reduce glare from strong lights on speakers while enhancing image quality and the comfort of subjects being filmed. This study designed glare evaluation and shooting effect experiments to explore the glare measurement indicators for large conference venues and the lighting setup that provides optimal portrait shooting effects. The results found that in large conference venues, maintaining a GRTV below 45,a main-to-side light ratio of 2∶1,a main light elevation angle of less than 30°,and side light horizontal angles between 25° and 60° can achieve a low-glare environment for the subjects while ensuring good image quality. This provides a scientific basis for future television production.
