Abstract:Compared to the illuminance on horizontal and vertical planes, the semi-cylindrical illuminance is more practical in scenarios where the three-dimensionality of illuminated objects, such as sidewalk lighting and facial recognition,is of concern.A semi-cylindrical illuminance meters is commonly used for measurement. The maximum allowable error for illuminance readings from semi-cylindrical illuminance meters on the market is typically±4%,and there is currently no existing calibration standard. This paper proposes using the light track calibration method, employing primary and secondary luminous intensity standard lamps with a standard value of approximately 1 000 cd,to calibrate semi-cylindrical illuminance meters and analyze the measurement uncertainty of the calibration results. The results show that, with a coverage factor of k=2,the expanded uncertainty of the measurement error for semi-cylindrical illuminance calibration points at 100 lx,50 lx,20 lx and 10 lx does not exceed 1.3%,which is less than 1/3 of the maximum allowable error for semi-cylindrical illuminance meters. This meets the requirements for the transfer of semi-cylindrical illuminance parameter values.
