Abstract:China is frequently affected by natural disasters, and park disaster relief tent accommodation areas play a crucial role in disaster prevention, reduction, and protecting people's lives.Compared to young individuals, elderly people require higher lighting environment standards. In the context of an aging population, exploring effective ways to enhance the aging resilience of emergency lighting in tent accommodation areas aligns with China's national conditions and holds significant practical importance. This study, set against the backdrop of tent accommodation areas for disaster relief, investigated the emergency lighting parameters with aging-friendly characteristics through subjective evaluation experiments, facial recognition tests and obstacle recognition tests. The experimental results indicated that illuminance had a greater impact on all indicators compared to color temperature.Emergency lighting in tent accommodation areas with horizontal illuminance between 7.4-11.3 lx and color temperature around 4500-5600 K is more conducive to the visual perception and psychological well-being of the elderly, demonstrating better disaster-resilience suitability.
