Abstract:Metal halide perovskite nanocrystals exhibit high emission quantum yield and broad color tunability, making them widely used in optoelectronic fields such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs),high-resolution X-ray imaging and photo-radiation sensors. However, issues such as low quantum efficiency and poor stability have limited the commercialization of perovskite-based optoelectronic devices. To address these challenges, embedding perovskite nanocrystals into metal-organic frameworks ( MOFs ) has been proposed to stabilize their emission properties. The resulting perovskite-MOF composite structures ( PeMOF) are stable,high-brightness emitters, enabling a range of promising applications. This paper reviews the preparation of PeMOF structures and discusses the latest advancements and future research directions in their application to light-emitting diodes.
