Method for Dual Channel LED Dimming with Single Duty Cycle

Abstract：Based on the theory of dual-channel LED dimming, the mapping relationship between single duty cycle, light metric and color metric was established to help application. And the feasible range of color temperature and luminous flux determined separately by dual duty cycle and single duty cycle was compared; the relationship between the single duty cycle and the CCT (correlated color temperature) was given. Dimming with single duty cycle, the CCT increased as the duty cycle of the cold LED increased. Single duty cycle dimming can adjust the color temperature continuously when the luminous flux is constant, it is convenient for lighting regulation.
