Abstract:In the field of optical radiation measurement, due to the lack of a standard light source with sufficient spectral power in the 380~450 nm band, the measurement uncertainty of this band is significantly higher than that of the rest of the visible light band and could not meet the needs of high-precision measurement requirement. Based on LED multi-spectral matching technology, a kind of wide band LED light source was developed to extend the spectrum of white LED to the entire visible spectrum band. This work provides a new technical route for the development of standard light source. The experimental results show that the wide spectrum LEDs composed by six kinds of LED chips and the special phosphors have good repeatability and stability. The repeatability of the optical flux is better than 0.3%, and the repeatability of the color temperature is 3 K, which is equivalent to that of the incandescent standard lamp. The wide spectrum LED is used as the standard lamp to measure the total luminous flux and chromatic coordinates of the red, green, blue and white LEDs, the deviation from the incandescent standard is within the range of uncertainty.
