Global Patent Application and Key Technologies of LED Visible Light Communication

Abstract：As a new, high-speed wireless communication method, LED visible light communication is rapidly developing worldwide. In this paper, by retrieving the global patent data of LED visible light communication, we analyze the situation, tendencies and technologies of the patent application, and therefore we have a good understand of the application trends,the application countries,the applicants and the technology distribution. In addition, we set Nakagawa Laboratories as an important applicant, make a thorough analysis on its application trends and key technologies. Ultimately, we put forward some feasible suggestions based on the objective analysis of LED visible light communication technology in China.
