Abstract：In this paper,an intelliget monitoring and control system based on Google maps is proposed and realized for street lighting systems,which can optimize the efficiency of management and achieve the visualization,intelligence and high efficiency of the street lamp control.The system solves the problems of real-time network transmission of monitoring and control system,and the slow loading issues when loading a large number of street lamps,by integrating computer technologies like WebGIS technology,GPRS,ZigBee,and WebGL,etc.Google maps and the multinational language library have been introduced to realize the internationalization of the software.The system is currently used in Hefei for testing,which can conduct the switch and dimming functions in a second or so.
