Light Source Selection for Emergency Lighting Design in High Indoor Space

Abstract：The emergency lighting is of crucial importance to the safety of people in high indoor space.The feasibility of various light sources to be applied in emergency lighting system in high indoor spaces is illustrated by analyzing the characteristics of emergency lighting design and light sources such as halogen lamp, compact fluorescent lamp (CPL), high intensity gas discharge lamp (HID) and light-emitting diode (LED) lamp.Suggestions on high indoor emergency lighting design are provided according to the research conclusion.
