Abstract：This paper Introduced a white-light LED light source, it can be installed in any color light type railway signal use, compatible with existing railway signal power supply, monitoring, alarm systems, different colors of the led light source through the glass, luminous intensity and chromaticity coordinates meet the standard requirements. Traditional rail color lamp signals in double-filament incandescent lamp as light source, its biggest shortcoming is the dual-filament incandescent lamp life and low; the filament current, effects on the supply of life system maintenance. According to China’ s traditional railway system color light signal about 20. 3 million units, study on white light LED railway signals have great economic and social significance.
