Abstract:The hybrid luminaire is a terminal device of a natural light illumination system. Hybrid luminaire with proper light intensity distribution is a guarantee for illumination stabilization on the work plane. As the research of hybrid luminaire is under a relative low level, this paper proposes a design of a hybrid luminaire based on reflector and lens structure. To achieve target candela power distribution, several elliptical reflectors are adopted to modulate the light output of LED light source and a free-form surface lens is constructed to modulate the sunlight which is conducted through a fiber. The experiment result shows a stable illumination distribution on the target plane as the proportion of LED light and sunlight changes.
