Design of Driving Power Supply for 50 W LED Street Lamp Based on OB3330

Abstract：According to operating characteristics and driving requirements of LED street lamp, a new kind of high-efficient 50 W street lamp driving power supply is designed based on high performance LED lighting driver OB3330. Flyback topology is adopted and protection functions for over-current, over-voltage, overload, over-temperature and short-circuit are also included. Experiment results and waveforms show that voltage output and current output are stable, ripple is small, energy conversion efficiency is high, and the system has the feasibility and reliability for long-time stable operation.
