Abstract:In this paper, a LED plastic plated aluminum was thermal simulated by using finite element CFD.The correctness of the model and simulation steps was verified by comparing the actual measured temperature and the temperature simulation.Based on the verified model, the influence of different thickness of the plastic and aluminum and other key factors to heat dissipation and quality was analyzed by the orthogonal optimization design method. Finally, the best parameter combination was obtained through synthetically considering both. The results show that the optimized by orthogonal experiments, although radiator quality had certain increase, but the LED temperature from 96.05 °C to 88.85 °C, dropped by 7.2 °C, the cooling effect is greatly improved.
