Abstract:The failure of the current CIE Color Rendering Index (CRI) for light sources (especially LED) has been demonstrated, and the new index CQS (Color Quality Scale) may replace it.In the condition of correlated color temperature of 3000 K, through the deployment of tri-color white LED spectral parameters to find the best balance of the LER and CQS .The results showed that with peak wavelength at 464 nm, 540 nm and 611 nm, FWHM at 20 nm, 30 nm and 20nm, we achieve K=396lm/W, Qa =80, which is the best result when Qa more than 80 and it was found that the peak wavelength and the FWHM that had optimized have a great influence on the CQS , to ensure the stability of the LED light source , the peak wavelength shifting and the FWHM broadening of the tri-color white LED should less than 5nm.
