The Method of Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Color Rendering Properties of LED

Abstract：This paper aims for a comparative study between different correlated color temperatures of the LED light source .According to psychophysical experiments under different illumination conditions , it obtains subjective evaluation of the natural performance and preference degree for hypothesized fruits and colored bouquets .And then it measures the color rendering objectively based on 4 typical kinds of objective evaluation indexs .Finally by using Pearson correlation coefficients and the multiple nonlinear regression model, the relationship between subjective score and objective evaluation indexes is analyzed .The results show that the 4 typical kinds of objective evaluation indexes are not well evaluating the color rendering of LED.And the multiple nonlinear regression metric method which is based on weighted combination of typical objective measures exhibits a better quantitative characterization of the color rendering of LED .
