A Review of LED Driver without Electrolytic Capacitor

Abstract：Electrolytic capacitor with large-capacity is required in traditional LED driver power.Unfortunately,electrolytic capacitor restricts the development of driver because of the short lifetime.Hence,eliminating the electrolytic capacitor is of significance to the lifetime improvement of the LED driver.This paper summarizes the solutions to remove the electrolytic capacitor and analyzes the technical performance.It will do good to provide a reference for the designing LED driver without electrolytic capacitor.
