Design of Street Lamp Monitoring System Based on Modbus Protocol

Abstract：According to the requirement of street lamp monitoring,a system based on Modbus protocol is designed.In street lamp monitoring system,the monitoring center is built up by MCGS and the monitoring terminal is established by PL3106 chip.The system uses Modbus protocol as the monitoring command,by using GPRS and low power line communication,the monitoring center can remote control the switches of street lamps and adjust the power of street lamps.The system construction is simple and convenient to be realized.
