A Method to Measure and Analyze LED’s Thermal Structure Based on Curve Fitting

Abstract：A method to analyze LED’ s thermal structure by curve fitting on thermal transient response is presented in this paper.It has the advantages of simple procession and calculation comparing to the usually method of thermal structure function.The curve fitting method shows better ability of extraction of thermal properties than Bayesian deconvolution by contrast of the Foster model calculated by curve fitting and the time-constant spectrum calculated by Bayesian deconvolution .Finally the analysis results of curve fitting method and structure function on LED ’ s thermal transient response show agreement on the whole .
