Research on the Visual Comfort of Large-size LED Color Screen

Abstract：This paper uses a large size LED color screen with 1.67mm-pixel pitch, 1600mm*1200mm-size to do the subjective assessment, gets serials subjective experiment data of LED best luminance for human visual comfort at different ambient illuminance, and builds an objective model by fitting calculation with these subjective experiment data.The results show, the fitting objective model matches the subjective experiment data well, and can show the relationship of LED best luminance of human visual comfort at various ambient illuminance;by using this model for LED color screen, there is no obvious visual comfort difference between LED color screen and LCD screen at the same viewing condition.
