Effect of Visual Comfort by Large Size Displays in Different Iuminance-Example for Comparative Research on LED and DLP Displays

Abstract：With the progress of technology, large size displays are more and more widely used in control room of communication, electricity, traffic, command posts and so on, but no related reports in influence of visual fatigue by large size displays.This study focuses on common LED and DLP displays.We carried out visual comfort test of both displays in three brightness ( 200/400/600 nits ) .Base on the results of physiological indexes of human eyes before and after the test, we obtained the assessments of impact on visual comfort by both displays.Research results could provide data support and theoretical basis for human factor design of large size displays.
