Reserch on Urban Sight Lighting Value Based on Contingent Valuation Method

Abstract：The contingent valuation method is one of the most important methods in analyzing the non-market value of nature source.The questionnaire survey with a sampling size of 300 respondents was performed to calculate the willingness to pay for the nightscape lighting of the west lake .The local residents’ willingness to pay is ￥27.65 and the tourists’ willingness to pay is ￥36.60.Sex, age, cultural level and family monthly income are the important factors to affect the levels of resident’s willingness to pay.
