Observation of the Sky Luminous Distribution in Southern China

Abstract：This article describes a method of observing sky luminance distribution via sky images.A fisheye lens DSLR camera was used to capture sky images continuously with a proper exposure.And a program was developed to obtain sky luminance distribution from the captured images.The approximate occurrences of three standard sky types were obtained through statistical processing.And then the linear components reflecting each occurrence were superimposed to obtain the representative sky models ( CSRS) of South China.At last, a series of simulations were conducted to verify the obtained CSRS models.
