Study on Brightness Profile of Chinese Human Vision Based on Liquid Crystal Display

Abstract：The brightness grade for white and black series among Chinese people was studied in the experiment.At the same time, the visual data at home and abroad were compared in order to study the Chinese human color vision characteristics .The color stimuli were displayed on the liquid crystal displays ( LCD) .The data were obtained through analyzing the lightness perception level in the Adobe RGB space . The performance factor of PF/3 would be used to discuss the observers 'test accuracy , and to obtain the curve of V-Y.Detailed processing and comparative analysis of the experimental data indicated that there was a nonlinear relation between the brightness values ( V) and the luminance factors ( Y) by using a five-order multinomial.Compared with the Munsell white and black series system , the values of luminance factors in the brightness grade of white and black series were different .The experimental results in this paper can provide raw data and reference for further study .
