Protection Requirement for Luminaires Used in Swimming Pools and Fountains

Abstract：Swimming pools, fountains and other basins usually are people accessible areas .Ignorring relevant safety requirements of luminaires or other electrical installations mounted in them will result in seriously injury . By clarifying the protection methods provided in national standards and the theory basis for SELV values , this article provides the protection requirement for luminaires used in swimming pools and similar places .
