Developments and Trend of White Organic Light Emitting Devices for General Illumination

Abstract：Organic Light-Emitting Devices (OLEDs) have shown attractive application prospect in display and illumination due to their simple processing, various materials, flexibility, plat launching, low cost and environmental friendliness .After giving the principle of white OLEDs , with the perspective of OLED materials , this paper reviews recent progress in low operating voltage technology , phosphorescent OLED technology and multi-photon emission device technology .The development trend of white OLEDs is also prospected .
