Design and Analysis on Public Subjective Survey of Light Pollution in Shanghai

Abstract：Excessive lighting , unsuited lighting distribution may bring people physical and mental discomfort .Public subjective survey was carried out around six typical light pollution sources in Shanghai . The survey focused on three areas: public awareness of light pollution , impact of light pollution , and attitude and reaction towards light pollution .This paper summarized the findings of this survey: more than 95 percent of the respondents believed there is light pollution in Shanhai , and about sixty percent respondents facing light pollution in daily life , most respondents believed that money couldn′t make up for the light pollution .
