Application of Nursing Emergency Plan Combined with Diversified Nursing in Postpartum Hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of a nursing emergency plan combined with diversified nursing in the management of postpartum hemorrhage.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clin-ical data of 68 women who experienced postpartum hemorrhage during delivery at Xiamen Fifth Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024.Based on the nursing plan,the patients were divided into an observation group(n=34,receiving a nursing emergency plan combined with diversified nursing)and a control group(n=34,receiving routine nursing).The two groups were compared in terms of perioperative indicators,hemostatic effectiveness,negative emotions(measured by the Self-Rating Depression Scale[SDS]and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale[SAS]),quality of life,and nursing satisfaction.Re-sults Compared with the control group,the observation group had significantly less postpartum bleeding(P<0.001),shorter hemostasis time,surgery duration,and hospitalization time(P<0.001).The hemostasis success rate was higher in the observation group(97.06%vs.79.41%,P<0.05).Before the intervention,there were no significant differences in SDS scores,SAS scores,and quality of life(physical function,social function,mental health,and overall health)between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,both groups showed a significant reduction in SDS and SAS scores(P<0.001),with a significant improvement in quality of life scores across all dimensions(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the observation group had significantly lower SDS and SAS scores(P<0.001),and significantly higher scores in physical function,social function,mental health,and overall health(P<0.001).Additionally,the nursing satisfaction in the ob-servation group was significantly higher than in the control group(97.06%vs.73.53%,P<0.05).Con-clusion For women experiencing postpartum hemor-rhage,implementing a nursing emergency plan com-bined with diversified nursing can effectively reduce bleeding volume,shorten bleeding time,improve hemostasis success,alleviate negative emotions,enhance quality of life,and increase nursing satisfaction.
