Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application effect of humanized nursing in the operating room nursing for children with fractures. Methods A total of 58 children with fractures admitted to Xiamen Children's Hospital between January 2022 and December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into an observation group(humanized nursing,n=29)and a control group(routine nursing,n=29).The surgical-related indicators, postoperative pain levels, joint function recovery, and post-operative quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group showed significantly shorter operation time and anesthesia recovery time(P<0.001),and signifi-cantly less intraoperative blood loss(P<0.001).Postoperatively,with the extension of follow-up time, the FLACC scores for pain degree in both groups showed a gradually decreasing trend.Specifically, compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly lower FLACC scores at 24 hours,48 hours, and 72 hours postoper-atively(P<0.001).Postoperatively,with the extension of follow-up time, the HSS scores for joint function in both groups showed a gradually increasing trend.Among them, compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher modified HSS scores at 1 week(P=0.001),2 weeks(P=0.002),1 month(P=0.004),and 3 months(P=0.008)postoperatively.Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher scores in physical function, psychological function, social function, and school function at 3 months postoperatively(P<0.001).Conclusion In the operating room nursing for children undergoing fracture surgery, humanized nurs-ing intervention can effectively shorten the operation time, reduce intraoperative blood loss, promote post-anesthe-sia recovery, alleviate postoperative pain, facilitate the recovery of joint function, and improve the quality of life of the children.
