Application and Effectiveness of Structured Nursing Risk Assessment in the Neurocritical Care Unit

Abstract：Objective This study aims to explore the construction path and practical application of the structured nursing risk assessment system in the neurocritical care unit(NCCU).Methods A retrospective anal-ysis was conducted on the clinical data of 90 patients in the neurocritical care unit of the 910th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force in Quanzhou,Fujian,from January 2024 to December 2024.Based on differences in nurs-ing risk assessment structures,the patients were divided into two groups:the observation group(structured nursing risk assessment system,45 patients)and the control group(conventional nursing risk assessment system,45 pa-tients).The nursing risk events,complications,nursing efficiency,and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The overall incidence of nursing risk events in the observation group was 2.22％,signif-icantly lower than the 15.56％in the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.22％,significantly lower than the 13.33％in the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing operation time(P＜0.05)and documentation time(P＜0.05)in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group.The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 95.56％,significantly higher than the 80.00％in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The structured nursing risk assessment system can effectively reduce the occurrence of nursing risk events and complications in the neurocritical care unit,improve nursing efficiency,and enhance nursing satisfaction.
