Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of a structured process reengineering model in patients with obstetric and gynecologic hemorrhagic shock. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted of 80 patients with obstetric and gynecologic hemorrhagic shock treated at Heji Hospital Affiliated to Changzhi Medical College from January 2022 to January 2025.According to differences in emergency care models, patients were assigned to receive integrated emergency nursing care(observation group,40 case)or routine emergency nursing care(control group,40 case). The resuscitation success rate, time to hemostasis, length of hospital stay, negative emotions,inci-dence of complications, and satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results The resuscitation success rate was 97.50%in the observation group, significantly higher than 82.50%in the control group(P=0.025).Time to hemostasis(P<0.001)and length of hospital stay(P<0.001)were both significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group. At admission, there were no significant between-group differences in Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores(P=0.379)or Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores(P=0.382).Before discharge,SAS and SDS scores decreased markedly in both groups, with the observation group showing significantly lower SAS(P<0.001)and SDS(P<0.001)scores than the control group. The incidence of complications was 5.00%in the observation group, significantly lower than 20.00%in the control group(P=0.043).The observation group also had a significantly shorter emergency response time(P<0.001)and time to establish venous access(P<0.001).In key resuscitation steps, the time to initial correction of shock was markedly reduced in the observation group compared with the control group(P<0.001).In addition, although the absolute difference in time to initiation of blood product transfusion was relatively small,it remained significantly shorter in the observation group(P=0.023).Conclusion In patients with obstetric and gy-necologic hemorrhagic shock, integrated emergency nursing care within a structured process reengineering model can effectively increase the resuscitation success rate, shorten time to hemostasis and hospital stay, alleviate anxiety and depression, reduce the risk of complications, and improve resuscitation efficiency.
