Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of laparoscopic surgery in the emergency management of patients with ruptured ectopic pregnancy and its impact on prognosis. Methods A total of 60 patients presenting with ruptured ectopic pregnancy between March 2020 and March 2023 were selected from Pucheng County Hos-pital and the Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The patients were randomly assigned into an observation group(n=30,treated with laparoscopic surgery)and a control group(n=30,treated with open surgery)using a random number table.Perioperative indicators, complete blood count(CBC),coagulation function, adverse events, and reproductive prognosis were compared between the two groups.Re-sults The observation group demonstrated significantly lower intraoperative blood loss, shorter surgery duration, and shorter hospitalization time compared to the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in hemoglobin(Hb)levels, platelet(PLT)levels, hematocrit(HCT),prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),or thrombin time(TT)between the two groups(P>0.05).Two hours post-treat-ment,both groups showed significant increases in the aforementioned CBC indices and significant decreases in coagulation function indices. The observation group had significantly higher Hb(P=0.003),PLT(P=0.001),and HCT(P=0.014)levels,and significantly lower PT(P<0.001),APTT(P=0.010),and TT(P<0.001)levels com-pared to the control group. The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group(3.33%vs.23.33%,P<0.05).After a one-year follow-up,the tubal patency rate(73.33%vs.46.67%,P<0.05)and natural pregnancy rate(60.00%vs.33.33%,P<0.05)in the observation group were sig-nificantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusion In the emergency management of patients with ruptured ectopic pregnancy, laparoscopic surgery can effectively shorten surgery and hospitalization times, reduce intraoperative blood loss, improve coagulation function and reproductive prognosis, enhance recovery of physical functions, and lower the risk of adverse events.
