Abstract:Objective This study aims to investigate the impact of using automated cardiopulmonary re-suscitation(CPR)machines on patients with cardiac arrest(SCA)in out-of-hospital emergency settings.Meth-ods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 60 SCA patients treated at Xiamen Xanglin Hospital from February 2023 to February 2025.The patients were divided into two groups based on the treatment method:the control group(30 patients)received manual CPR,and the observation group(30 patients)received au-tomated CPR using the CPR machine. The success rate of CPR,vital signs, arterial blood gas parameters, and car-diac injury markers were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of CPR in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The time to restore spontaneous circulation, sustain resuscitation, and regain spontaneous breathing were all shorter in the observation group(P<0.001).The observation group showed higher blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)and partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),and lower partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2),creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic pep-tide(NT-proBNP),myoglobin(MYO),and cardiac troponin-1(cTn-1)levels compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).Conclusion The use of automated CPR machines in out-of-hos-pital emergency settings effectively increases the success rate of CPR and improves vital signs in SCA patients, making it a safe and effective emergency response method.
