Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of the integrated emergency trauma surgery model in the treatment of trauma patients. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 120 trau-ma patients who visited the Department of Emergency Surgery at Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024.Based on the differences in emergency care models, patients were divided into the observation group(integrated emergency trauma surgery model,60 cases)and the control group(conventional emergency care model,60 cases). The study compared emergency care efficiency, trauma severity, treatment outcomes, and the in-cidence of adverse reactions between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly shorter pre-hospital care time,multi-disciplinary consultation time, venous access establish-ment time, completion time for the full-body examination, and emergency rescue time(P<0.001).The total effective-ness rate of emergency care in the observation group was significantly higher(98.33%vs.83.33%,P<0.05),and the overall incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower(3.33%vs.16.67%,P<0.05).Prior to the intervention, there were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of injury severity scores(ISS)and the CRAMS score(P>0.05).After the intervention, the ISS score significantly decreased(P<0.001),and the CRAMS score signifi-cantly increased(P<0.001).Furthermore,the observation group showed a significantly lower ISS score(P<0.05)and a significantly higher CRAMS score(P<0.05)compared to the control group. Conclusion The integrated emergency trauma surgery model can effectively improve emergency care efficiency, reduce the severity of trauma, enhance treat-ment outcomes, and lower the risk of adverse reactions in trauma patients.
