Abstract:Objective Exploring the clinical efficacy and safety of Fasudil combined with Nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods Fifty patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage who received treatment at Sanshui District People's Hospital in Foshan City from February 2023 to No-vember 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Based on the random number table method, the study subjects were divided into an observation group(treated with Fasudil+Nimodipine,25 cases)and a control group(treated with Nimodipine,25 cases).Result Compare the occurrence of cerebral vasospasm, cerebral hemodynamic related indicators, serological related indicators, clinical treatment efficacy, and incidence of adverse reactions be-tween two groups of patients. The probability of no cerebral vasospasm in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(84.00%vs.52.00%,P<0.05);The clinical total effective rate of the observation group patients was significantly higher than that of the control group patients(88.00%vs.60.00%,P<0.05).During the treatment period, there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the average blood flow velocity, matrix met-alloproteinase-9(MMP-9),and nuclear transcription factor kappa B(NF-κB)levels in the middle cerebral artery(MCA)and posterior cerebral artery(PCA)between the two groups of patients. After treatment, both groups of pa-tients showed significant improvement in the above indicators; Moreover, the average blood flow velocity of MCA and PCA in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),while the decrease in MMP-9 and NF-κB was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.001).There was no significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(20.00%vs.16.00%,P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Fasudil and Nimodipine is more effective in treating cer-ebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage than monotherapy. It can improve patients' cerebral hemodynamic indicators without increasing adverse reactions, and has good safety.
