The Application Value of Clinical Nursing Intervention in Patients with Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of clinical nursing intervention in patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Methods This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 70 patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)admitted to Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2022 to June 2024.Based on different nursing interventions,patients were divided into an observation group(receiving clinical systematic nursing intervention)and a control group(receiving routine nursing interven-tion),with 35 patients in each group.Liver function indicators including total bilirubin(TBiL),alanine transami-nase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),total bile acids(TBA),and albumin(Alb)were compared between the two groups after intervention.Additionally,the quality of life,sleep quality,nursing satisfaction,and incidence of complications were observed.Results Before the intervention,there were no significant differences between the two groups in liver function indicators,quality of life(HOQOL-BREF scores),and sleep quality(PSQI scores)(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the observation group showed significantly lower levels of liver function indica-tors(TBiL,ALT,AST,TBA,Alb)and sleep quality(PSQI scores)compared to the control group(P＜0.05).In terms of quality of life,the observation group had significantly higher scores in the physical,psychological,social rela-tionships,and environmental domains compared to the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group was 97.14％,significantly higher than the 80.00％in the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group(11.43％vs.34.29％,P＜0.05).Conclusion F or patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure,clinical systematic nursing intervention is beneficial in improving liver function,quality of life,and sleep quality,increasing nursing sat-isfaction,and reducing the risk of complications.
