Abstract:Objective To explore the comprehensive effects of hyperbaric oxygen and compression training on divers' physiological parameters, decompression sickness risk, and exercise performance. Methods A total of 45 healthy professional divers were selected as research subjects from January 2020 to December 2022.Using a random number table, they were divided into an observation group(hyperbaric oxygen and compression training,n=23)and a control group(conventional training,n=22).The blood pressure, heart rate, lung function, hemoglobin, red blood cell count, blood gas indices, and blood nitrogen content were compared between the two groups of di-vers.Results Before training, there were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, forced vital capacity, forced expiratory volume in the first second, hemoglobin, red blood cell count,pH value, carbon dioxide partial pressure, oxygen partial pressure, and blood nitrogen content(P>0.05).After training,in the observation group, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, carbon dioxide partial pressure, and blood nitrogen content were significantly lower than before training(P<0.05).Oxygen saturation, forced vital capacity, forced expiratory volume in the first second,pH value, oxygen partial pressure, hemoglobin, and red blood cell count significantly increased(P<0.05).In contrast, the control group showed fluctuations in these indicators, but without statistically significant differences(P>0.05).Further-more,after training, the observation group had significantly lower systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, carbon dioxide partial pressure, and blood nitrogen content compared to the control group(P<0.05),while oxygen saturation, forced vital capacity, forced expira-tory volume in the first second, hemoglobin, red blood cell count,pH value, and oxygen partial pressure were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion Hyperbaric oxygen and compression training can effectively reduce divers' heart rate and blood pressure, enhance cardiovascular stability, improve blood oxygen-carrying capacity, promote hemoglobin and red blood cell production, and reduce blood nitrogen content.
